4 Clear Steps Until Your Order Arrives
From the moment you choose a resin table until it arrives in your space.
RESIN SPACE believes that this process is not merely a "purchase" and "delivery",

We fully understand the anxiety of purchasing an expensive "one-of-a-kind item" online.
Therefore, we allow for customization to your specifications, moving beyond simple modern online shopping.
You're not just buying a piece created by the lead designer; instead, we deliver a piece based on the designer's carefully crafted work, tailored to your ideal "shape."
【Step 1】Choose a one-time top board
1. Trust your intuition
First, look at the exhibited pieces and, without overthinking it, search for a piece that "attracts you" instinctively.
The complex undulations of the wood grain, the movement of the single slab and the flow of the resin, the beauty of the sides. Each piece has its own individuality, so please find what appeals to your sensibility.
As the lead designer, I create all pieces with several concepts in mind. Based on various design knowledge, I aim to maximize the individuality of each slab.
I have responded to many customer orders and understand that everyone's preferences are completely different. That's why I don't design pieces that appeal to everyone.

2. Consider harmony with your interior
Next, objectively re-evaluate the candidates you intuitively selected from the perspective of "harmony with the space." Judge based on how you want the resin table to be presented from the perspective of the space.
・If the flooring is light-colored
Choosing a light-colored wood species that matches the flooring will create a sense of unity in the space, but if done incorrectly, the table may disappear.
This varies depending on the flooring material; for stone or tile-based flooring, any wood species color is fine.
However, caution is needed for wood-based flooring.
For example, with oak flooring and an oak wood slab, and clear resin, a sense of unity is created, but the tabletop doesn't stand out and the overall look becomes dull. If you choose a single slab in the same color scheme, it's good to use dark or blue resin to emphasize the special characteristics of the resin table.
Conversely, if the single slab is darker, it creates a change in the space, tightening the overall room and emphasizing the tabletop. This is the color combination chosen by those who love single slab or resin tables. In this case, you don't need to consider the resin color. Choose your favorite design and color.
・If the flooring is dark-colored
Choosing a dark-colored wood species that matches the flooring can create a sense of unity in the space, but if done incorrectly, the resin table may disappear.
This varies depending on the flooring material, but for black stone or tile-based flooring, any wood species color is fine, but caution is needed for wood-based flooring.
For example, with walnut flooring and a walnut wood slab, and clear resin, a sense of unity is created, but the tabletop doesn't stand out and the overall look becomes dull.
Walnut flooring uses younger wood, so its wood color is slightly lighter. If you're going for a consistent color scheme, consider selecting a darker wood like claro walnut to create a color variation from the flooring. For the resin color, if the slab is dark, the resin's presence is minimal, so prioritize the wood's color. The resin can be any color you like.
Conversely, if the single slab is lighter, it creates a change in the space, tightening the overall room and emphasizing the tabletop. This is the color combination chosen by those who love single slab or resin tables.
When paired with blue resin, even a light blue resin appears deep blue. If you want to create a refreshing blue, lighten the wood. Even a light blue will appear deep blue from a distance, which improves the overall cohesion of the interior, and up close, it looks transparent blue, which is good.
Of course, dark and clear resins are also compatible.
【Step 2】Optimization for your space (top size, height, size adjustment,搬入経路）
■ Top Board Size: Envisioning the main number of users and ample space
The personal space required for one adult to eat is approximately 60cm wide x 40cm deep. Adding 10cm of余裕 on both sides gives:
For 4 people: approximately 140cm ~ comfortable 180cm
For 6 people: approximately 200cm ~ comfortable 250cm
This serves as one minimum guideline for length.
The more space you have, the more relaxed your dining experience will be.
For depth, please refer to your current dining table and adjust the minimum of 80cm to 100cm.
85-95cm is recommended for ample space. Please decide by considering the balance of length.
Ensuring adequate passage is also important; place the dining set with chairs as shown in the figure above, ensuring enough distance from walls.
■ Height: Considering chairs and body types
A crucial factor in determining table height is "the difference between the chair height and the tabletop surface."
This seat difference of 270mm to 300mm is considered ergonomically suitable for the Japanese body type. At RESIN SPACE, we've gathered data from hundreds of people and arrived at the figure of 280mm.
For typical Japanese body types, consider a seat difference of 280mm.
Based on that, we recommend an adjustment of about 5mm, between 275mm and 285mm, considering the body type of the primary users.
■ Size adjustment: Can be modified to the optimal size for your home
If the selected top board is too large, we will perform size adjustment (cutting).
Instead of simply cutting off the ends, the designer will specify the cut line down to the millimeter, ensuring that the "most beautiful wood grain" and "resin flow and lines" of the precious wood remain balanced to convey the original intended design.
It is possible to purchase a 2000mm large dining table and convert it into a 1500mm dining table and a 500mm low table. In that case, processing fees for the second piece and iron leg costs will apply, and we will provide a separate estimate.
■ Delivery route: Please confirm carefully.
For items 2100mm or longer, please be sure to check the delivery route with a tape measure or similar tool.
The tabletop and iron legs will be delivered separately and assembled at the installation location.
Therefore, please check the delivery route only for the tabletop.
For 2100mm, the tabletop can be transported upright, so it is generally possible to deliver if the passage used by people can accommodate it. If there is no elevator or if you are transporting to the second floor of a house and using a delivery service, there will be an additional charge, so please contact us in advance. If payment has already been made, an additional invoice will be sent later.
【Step 3】Order Confirmation and Payment
Once you have an idea of the specifications, add it to your cart and proceed to payment.
Payment can be made by card or bank transfer.
After confirming your order, our representative will contact you to adjust the detailed specifications. If you have any concerns about the top plate size or height, please consult us even after placing your order.

【Step 4】Final finishing by craftsmen and delivery ~Excitement until arrival~
RESIN SPACE products will always undergo maintenance and repainting after purchase.
The maintenance process and production steps will be reintroduced on Instagram or our web blog. We hope to heighten your excitement and allow you to enjoy the waiting period until delivery even more.
After maintenance is complete, we will deliver it by professional courier or RESIN SPACE direct delivery, depending on the location.
After-purchase Maintenance
〜To make your family even more beautiful〜
A resin table is not "complete" the moment it is delivered.
Its true depth as a "family member" grows with age alongside your daily life. A life of several hundred years has a completely different spirit from other furniture, so please feel it in your daily life.
RESIN SPACE products are manufactured with specifications that are highly resistant to dirt.
We use a highly resistant coating against water stains and soy sauce, so you can use it just like regular wooden furniture.
For daily care, please use a tightly wrung damp cloth.
Scratches accumulate on the resin part.
While it is possible for customers to restore it to like-new condition, we will advise each customer on the appropriate maintenance method.
Maintenance at the factory, or maintenance by a RESIN SPACE craftsman visiting your location, is also available for a fee. Paid maintenance will be provided for life to customers who purchase from RESIN SPACE.
